Imaging centers survive—and thrive—when both the radiology group and the hospital share a common interest, a joint venture or a partnership. Reimbursement cuts continue to affect physician owned outpatient imaging centers. Creative solutions must be found to enable partnerships or joint ventures for outpatient imaging.
